Vehicle navigation method

The vehicle navigation method involves determining a first route from a start point to a destination and determining a second, alternative route to the first route. A third alternative route to the second alternative route is determined and a difference between the third and second routes is displayed. The difference in distance and/or time is displayed. An Independent claim is also included for a navigating device for a vehicle.
