This thermal regulation device comprises a heat transfer liquid circuit (12) including a thermal regulation branch (14), at least a first branch (16) equipped with energy storage means (20) capable of being regenerated, called first energy storage branch (16), and means (38) for selective connection of the first energy storage branch (16) to the thermal regulation branch (14). This thermal regulation device further comprises a second branch (18) equipped with energy storage means (20) capable of being regenerated, called second energy storage branch (18), a regeneration branch (22) of the energy storage means (20) of the second energy storage branch (18), and means (40) for selective connection of the second energy storage branch (18) to the thermal regulation branch (14) and to the regeneration branch (22). Application in particular to thermal regulation of an internal combustion engine and a passenger compartment of a motor vehicle by means of energy storage means.
