A housing (11) is formed in two parts: one part (12) forming a connector housing, and one forming a lid part (13) accommodating poles (32,33) for detecting the liquid level. The lid part and the housing part define a cavity (14) which accommodates a circuit board (15), which is sealed against the liquid side (25) of the housing.
