The strut has a damping element with a coil spring, damping cylinder, piston rod, two dish springs and two annular cylinders. Both the annular cylinders (16, 18) are able to be displaced axially on the damper cylinder (4). One of them is supported by a manually adjustable setting element (27). Adjustment may be in stages or stageless.
