Damper strut

The invention relates to a damper strut with a damper cylinder, a damper piston displaceably provided in the damper cylinder, which separates a lower piston chamber from an upper piston chamber and is connected with a piston rod extending from the cylinder, and a spring device which is provided between a piston rod spring plate connected to the piston rod and a cylinder spring plate connected to the damper cylinder. In order to adjust spring properties, damping properties and a ride height of the vehicle in a desired manner, it is proposed that an intermediate spring plate (8) is provided, which is adjustable in height by a height adjustment device (4, 16, 13, 20), and the spring device has a main spring (6) provided between the piston rod spring plate (10) and the intermediate spring plate (8) and a secondary spring (7) provided between the intermediate spring plate (8) and the cylinder spring plate (17), wherein the secondary spring (7) is changeable in its length upon a height adjustment of the secondary spring and is advantageously completely compressed in a lower position of the intermediate spring plate (8).
