A casing 8 is configured to be separable into a fire panel-side part Fp which contains an air-mixing door 7 and mode doors M1, M2, and is integrally connected to an instrument panel 1, and a fire panel-side module Fp which contains an evaporator 5, a heater core 7, etc. and is connected to an instrument panel 1 via the fire panel-side part Fp. When the instrument panel 1 is removed, only the fire panel-side part Fp can be removed together with the instrument panel 1.
