The present invention refers to an automotive air conditioning device comprising a case, an evaporator, a heater core, a mix door, a mixing chamber, and a plurality of mode doors and a door driving mechanism for controlling an air flow from an upstream side of the evaporator towards a passenger compartment, wherein at least one of said mix or mode doors comprising a sliding type door operated by said door driving mechanism which is of a gear type.
