Method and device for creating a display and control panel for a man machine interface

The invention relates to a method for generating a display and operating environment of a human-machine interface (10) with connected devices and/or applications, wherein a processing device (4) is assigned to the human-machine interface (10) directly or indirectly. The invention further relates to a device for generating a display and operating environment of a human-machine interface (10) corresponding to connected devices and/or applications, wherein the human-machine interface (10) has at least one input device (8) and at least one output device (6) and comprises a processing device (4) and/or is connected to a processing device (4). According to the invention, stored generic data (V1, V2, V3, 28, 30, 32) of the display and/or operating environment of the human-machine interface (10) are retrieved by the processing device (4) as a function of certain parameters and/or automatically transmitted to the processing device (4). Furthermore, stored data (A1, A2, A3), in particular function data, of the connected devices and/or applications are retrieved or transmitted. In a further step, the retrieved or transmitted data are linked in the processing device and, depending on the linking, displays and/or operating structures are generated on the human-machine interface (10).
