Wiper blade without yokes

The windscreen wiper blade for use without mounting hoops comprises a plastic reinforcing strip (16), to the base of which a wiping blade (12) is attached, both of threes having a hydrophobic surface. A connector (18) at the center of the rail is attached to the wiper arm using an adapter, connector and adapter both having a hydrophobic surface.
