The load handling apparatus has a front lifting handle (6) and a deformable tipping handling arm (11) allowing an emptying position where a hook (20) engages the lifting handle. The arm is pivoted by an actuator (12) around a rear transverse axis (21). An actuator (15) lifts a connecting rod (23) belonging to the handling arm by pivoting upwards and forwards.
