Adaptive direction control for vehicle
DRIVE
September 18, 2002
The method involves varying the alignment angle between an actual target direction and a target direction for straight vehicle travel defined in a plane parallel to the road (7) plane depending on the curvature of a bend. The angle is varied before the vehicle (1) reaches the region (9) of maximum curvature of the bend. Independent claims are also included for the following: an arrangement for controlling the alignment of at least one directional arrangement, especially at least one vehicle headlamp.
