The profiled frame (2) as a motor vehicle's window or door frame has a preferably closed hollow profile and at least one flange installed on it and following the progression of the hollow profile to form a sealing contact face. The flange with regard to the hollow profile in its progression is formatted with varying spacing and so a varying installation width of the profiled frame is realized at right angles to the direction of progression of the hollow profile. An Independent claim is included for a motor vehicle's door or gate with the proposed profiled frame.
