Control device for the cooling circuit of an internal combustion engine
DRIVE
July 24, 2002
The control for the cooling circuit of an IC engine with at least two partial cooling circuits, especially for a V-engine with two banks of cylinders, comprises a housing (16a) with at least two inlets and at least one outlet (19, 20) on a different level to the inlets. A slide (26) with the same number of apertures (23, 24) as there are outlets can be rotated to control the flow of coolant.
