Method for controlling the drive torque applied to at least one wheel of an industrial truck
DRIVE
July 24, 2002
The wheels (10,12) of an industrial truck are allocated sensors (16,18) that measure wheel RPMs and their peripheral velocity. Speed is indicated with Vr/Vl. Slip between a drive wheel (14) and the ground is determined by a comparison between the drive wheel's measured peripheral velocity and measured vehicle speed of the industrial truck. Slip is then compared with a set point value.
