Headliner for a vehicle roof and process to make such a vehicle roof

The roof lining (1) has an inner side (3) facing the interior of the vehicle, and an outer side (6) facing the outer skin (2) of the roof. There are individual fixing projections (9) on the outside for fixing it to the outer skin of the roof. The roof lining may be in the form of a multilaminar bonded component with the projections formed in it.
