The invention relates to a vehicle door, in particular an automobile door, having a face intended to be oriented toward the interior of the vehicle, called interior face (1), and a face intended to be oriented toward the exterior of the vehicle, called exterior face (2), said door allowing the placement of one or more equipment elements (3) at least partly located in particular between said interior faces (1) and exterior faces (2). According to the invention, said door consists of a frame (6), capable of supporting said equipment element or elements (3), and covering means (7) of said frame (6), defining with the latter, on either side thereof, interior (8) and exterior (9) recesses allowing for the accommodation of said equipment element or elements (3).
