Wind deflector for a convertible vehicle

The wind deflector (1) has an operating linkage coupled to the vehicle top drive mechanism, such that the wind deflector can be raised and lowered during certain movement phases of the drive mechanism. The drive mechanism moves the vehicle top between closed and storage positions. The wind deflector is supported by vertically extended guide tracks to be moved between lowered and raised positions. When the vehicle top is in closed position, the vehicle interior is covered by the vehicle top. When in storage position, the vehicle top is disposed at the rear storage compartment.
