Guide track for a moveable window pane of a vehicle

The invention pertains to a guide track (1) for a movable windowpane, especially for a retractable windowpane of a motor vehicle, with at least one guide element (5) for the windowpane displaceable along the guide track. In order to create a guide track (1) with compact installation dimensions and at the same time a sufficient length for guiding the windowpane during its movement, it is proposed that the guide track for movement of the windowpane be retractable at least on one side.
