An impact element(10) is installed on the rear side(4) of the head section(7) of the seat and is connected to the seat's side members(8). The two side members are interconnected by a connecting component(13) below the impact element. The impact element has a curvature orientated away from the front side(5) and which extends over at least almost the whole width and/or one part of the height of the impact element.
