DRIVE March 13, 2002
Source
For each cylinder, the cylinder head unit has an intake valve (2), an outlet valve (3), first and second holder (7a,b) for an ignition device (8a,b), and a fuel injection unit. A third holder (7c) is for an injection unit (9c) or an ignition device. Intake and outlet valves are actuated by a common offset cam shaft (5) via similar valve actuators (4a,b). The first holder is located mainly parallel to the intake valve, the second holder is mainly parallel to the outlet valve.
