Speed control and vehicle
DRIVE
March 13, 2002
A sensor (130) determines the accelerator (1238) position and produces a speed control signal from it, however, a control unit (122) produces a command controlling the speed at which the driven wheels (141,143) will actually be turned. It does this as a function of: steering angle, vehicle wheel position, spacing between driven wheels and the speed control signal.
