A vehicle roof (1) adjustable between a closed position and an open position comprises an adjustment device (4) and at least one side window (5) which is to be pivoted via a pivot joint (8) during the transition between the closed and open positions by means of an actuating element (11). In a simple embodiment, the actuating element (11) is coupled on one side at a distance from the side window pivot axis (9) to the side window (5) and is connected on its opposite side to an element of the adjustment device (4).
