DRIVE
March 6, 2002
The invention relates to an actuator for active suspension control, wherein the actuator is connected to the control arm (5) fastened to the wheel (6) of the vehicle, using a torque-generating actuating element, wherein according to the invention the actuating element is arranged in the form of a swivel motor (1) between the body (3) and the control arm (5) and transmits a torque to the control arm (5) corresponding to roll and pitch compensation and/or ensuring damping of the control arm oscillations, and that the swivel motor (1) is coupled to the control arm (5) via an energy-storing element and thus additionally acts as a damper and damps the wheel vibrations.
