Vehicle wheel in light weight construction

The wheel has a rim (1) and a plate (2) of cold-formed high strength sheet steel, which are connected in the overlapping area by an MIG-solder connection. The solder is an alloy on CU or Ni-B-Si basis. The rim has a material thickness 1,5 - 3,5mm, and a strength of 500-800 N/mm-2. The plate has a thickness of 3,0 - 4,0mm, and a strength of 500 - 900 N/m-2.
