Method for producing plastic hollow bodies

A tubular plastic parison is extruded in a blow molding plant or coextrusion blow molding plant. The parison is cut open at desired place to form a semifinished open-surface product. The product is thermoformed to produce two half-shells. The half-shells are then welded to give a hollow article.
