Method and system for controlling a power supply to electric loads

The invention relates to a method and a system for controlling the energy supply of electrical consumers (7) in an electrical energy supply network (8), wherein consumers of electrical energy (3) connected to the network (8) are each assigned a control and distribution device (1) which enables the connection or disconnection of individual consumers (7), and which is connected via a communication network (2) to at least one provider of electrical energy (4), and wherein in the event of a demand for electrical energy by one of the consumers (7) at the control and distribution device (1), including user specifications, the control and distribution device (1) first checks whether for the time of the demand a valid offer from a provider exists that meets the requirements, and if this is the case, switches on the affected consumer (7). If this is not the case, the device (1) requests an offer from at least one provider (4), carries out a renewed comparison of the requirements with the offer, switches on the consumer (7) if the offer meets the requirements, or initiates a message if the offer is insufficient.
