Safety circuit and vehicle
DRIVE
February 27, 2002
Vehicles, such as lawn and garden tractors, with a power take-off shaft frequently have a safety circuit with multiple functions, which include preventing power take-off shaft operation during reverse travel of the vehicle. Under certain conditions, operation of the power take-off shaft during reverse travel of the vehicle may be necessary. A safety circuit is proposed which enables operation of the power take-off shaft during reverse travel when a push-button switch (130) is actuated, wherein this push-button switch (130) only needs to be held down briefly in order to initiate operation of the power take-off shaft. Furthermore, a vehicle (10), in particular a vehicle for lawn, garden and property maintenance with such a safety circuit is proposed.
