Foldable loading platform

A foldable loading platform edge with at least two platform profiles (1.2, 1.3) which are articulated to one another, wherein at least one underside surface (29) of a platform profile (1.3) is assigned a support surface (30), which runs at an acute angle (v) to the vertical (31) when the platform profile (1.3) is arranged horizontally. This support surface (30) is intended to interact with a wedge (32) which on the other hand is supported against a counter-surface (37), which is assigned to the underside of the other platform profile (1.2) in the region of the articulated connection (2).
