The invention relates to a vehicle transporter with a lower and at least one upper loading platform, wherein the upper loading platform comprises - a support device for receiving vehicles, - two parallel longitudinal beams which extend approximately in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle transporter and between which the support device is arranged and attached thereto, - at least one front and rear support device, which support the longitudinal beams, - wherein the longitudinal beams are pivotably connected to the support devices. The transporter is distinguished in that the longitudinal beams each have a joint, which is arranged opposite one another in the transverse direction and in the region between the front and rear support devices, wherein the joint is designed to be fixable.
