Load compartment cover for vehicles, in particular for station wagons

The device (10) has e.g. a housing (11) for a material blind with its inner edge fastened to e.g. a winding shaft on the side of the holder, and its end edge fastened detachable to the vehicle. The holder is fastened (28,29,30) to the back of a seat arrangement (15) with at least two pivoted seat backrests (25,26,27). The holder has coupling parts (31) acting with counter parts (32) on each backrest. Coupling parts and counter parts are actuated separately or together. Coupling parts (37) on the ends of the holder are in detachable connection with counter parts (38) on the vehicle.
