Wind deflector

The wind deflector for convertible motor vehicles has a frame (12) in two sections (14a,14b) connected by hinges with a guiding edge on each of the sections for the flat material web stretched over the frame. The material web runs over each guiding edge which retains the portions of the material web extending in this frame section on a clamping face adjoining the frame at the side. Each of the clamping faces runs through the hinge axis (28) of the frame.
