The exhaust gas recirculating circuit for a motor vehicle internal combustion engine has a connecting pipe (2) between the exhaust and engine intake duct. A filter (4) is positioned in the connecting pipe. The filter can be a high temperature resistant medium such as a stainless steel pressing.
