Holder for beverage receptacle

The holder device for a drinks container has a slide movable on a guide in the fashion of a drawer. The holder has a gravity locking unit which locks the slide in the pushed-in position if the slide (14) is not in an approximate horizontal position. The gravity locking unit has a locking component which moves into either a locking or unlocking position by gravity force if the slide is pivoted into a non-horizontal position. The locking component is movable at an angle to the direction of movement of the slide.
