This invention provides an integrated control apparatus of a vehicle including an internal combustion engine and a continuously variable transmission in which a driving power transmission system containing the continuously variable transmission for transmitting a driving power outputted by the internal combustion engine to a driving wheel is coupled on an output side of the internal combustion engine capable of changing an opening/closing timing of an intake valve. The integrated control apparatus comprises intake valve closing timing control means (steps S4, S5) for changing a valve closing timing of the intake valve accompanied by a change of the transmission gear ratio set up by the continuously variable transmission. Consequently, a sudden braking force, which is generated by increasing a transmission gear ratio at the time of deceleration is prevented.
