Circuit arrangement for a motor vehicle

The circuit has a common gateway (8) with a reception channel (EA-EC) and a transmission channel (SA-SC) per bus system (A-C) and a test arrangement for checking successful data transmission to or reception from a functional module (1-7) of a data bus system. The gateway has a blocking arrangement for blocking the reception channel if the transmission is not successful or the transmission channel if the reception is not successful.
