DRIVE
November 28, 2001
Anode material contains doped tin oxide. Independent claims are also included for: (a) an anode material comprising reacting a tin chloride solution with urea; reacting the solution formed with urotropin and a suitable doping compound; emulsifying the sol produced in petroleum ether; washing the gel obtained and drawing off the solvent; and drying the gel and tempering; and (b) an electrochemical cell consisting of a cathode, anode, separator and electrolyte, the anode being made from the above material. Preferred Features: The doping material is F, Cl, Br, I, S, Se, Te, B, N or P.
