Slide for closing an opening for securing in a cover strip of a vehicle roof rack channel

The slider (9) is for closure of a fixture aperture in a cover strip for the roof channel of a road vehicle and comprises a cover clip, a guide clip and a cover (11), which at one end (12) can be impressed relatively to the guide clip. When the slider is moved from the closed to the open position, the cover at one end is pressed inwards, and is pushed under the cross edge of the aperture until the rear edge is free. Finally, the slider is pushed in the direction of the other end. In the opening position, the cover part of the slider is located over the outside of the cover strip.
