The method involves detecting the actual revolution rate of the unbraked wheels (2,3) to derive a demand revolution rate for the braked wheels (7,8) in a controller (9), determining wheel slip on the braked wheels and applying a non-locking braking force to the braked wheels taking into account the demanded revolution rate and the wheel slip.
