The window shade (29) for the side window (18) is designed, so that in order to close the slit (26) in the window soffit (24) with the non-use of the window shade. A flexible cover strip (59) is connected with the reinforcing strip (57) at the front edge (43) of the shade strip (31), which in the moved out position fits close to the contour of the reinforcing strip.
