Anti-tip caster suspension for a wheelchair

An anti-tip suspension for a wheel chair having rear casters is defined. The suspension (22) includes a rocker arm support (48), a rocker arm (46) and a spring (50). The rocker arm (46) is pivotally attached to the rocker arm support (48) so that it is rotatable with respect to the rocker arm support (48). The spring (50) engages the rocker arm (46) and rocker arm support (48), biasing them away from one another. The rocker arm (46) includes a rotation limiter (60) that limits the rotation of the rocker arm (46) with respect to the rocker arm support (48) in one direction.
