Sunvisor for vehicles

A sun visor is described for vehicles, the sun visor body (1) of which is foldable about an associated axis (5) and displaceable along this axis (5). For this purpose, it is provided that the sun visor body (1) is equipped with at least one switching device (9) for switching on and off an electrical lighting device, a remote control unit (10) for controlling an automatic device for opening and closing garage doors or the like, and a line (11) comprising several conductor wires (17-19), wherein via the line (11) which can be connected to the general vehicle electrical system, a permanent power supply independent of the respective sun visor body position is provided to the at least one switching device (9) electrically connected to the line (11) as well as to the remote control unit (10) which is likewise electrically connected to the line (11).
