Vehicle headlamp and control apparatus

The headlamp (1) has a light source (3) positioned at the center of a rear reflector (2) and provided with a stationary light stop and a movable light stop (7), operated by a setting device (8) positioned behind the rear reflector for bringing it into an operative position for shielding part of the rear reflector. The movable light stop abuts a stop provided by the holder for the light source in its inoperative position. An Independent claim for a control device for an automobile headlamp is also included.
