Vehicle roof comprises two roof openings arranged one behind the other in a fixed roof covering (10), adjustable lids for closing and at least partially opening the roof openings, and a fixed middle part (13) between the two roof openings. The rear edges (18, 19) of the front lid (16) and the rear lid (17) can be raised about their front edges (20, 21) into their ventilation positions. An Independent claim is also included for a canopy for a vehicle roof.
