Wheel guard assembly for a vehicle

The arrangement has wing (2) with a reinforcing part (6) located on the inside along its upper edge (3). Wing and part form a hollow profile. The reinforcing part profile has a wall section (7), parallel and at a distance to the outer wall of the wing. The wall section is supported on the upper edge via a first leg (8), and via a second leg (9) on an outer wall section (12) of the wing away from the upper edge. The outer wall section is supported against the vehicle body via a connection part (16). The reinforcing part has a small wall thickness than the wing, and the connection part is thicker than the part.
