Balance shaft for combustion engine
DRIVE
September 5, 2001
The invention relates to balance shafts for internal combustion engines which have circulating balance masses for compensating free inertia forces and/or moments, which are driven in a fixed transmission ratio to the crankshaft and simultaneously form the drive for auxiliary aggregates, whereby for structural simplification, at least one cam (7) for driving an auxiliary aggregate (10) is arranged rotationally fixed on the balance shaft and the cam (7) simultaneously forms part of the balance mass.
