Multi-media equipment for a vehicle

In order to be able to operate the multimedia player (2) of a multimedia device (1) in a car or minibus comfortably and safely from all seats, a recess (3) for receiving the multimedia player (2) is provided in the multimedia device (1). The multimedia player (2) is pivotably fastened by its rear side (5) to the front or rear side of the recess (3), so that it can be pivoted out of the recess (3) around its rear side (5) by an angle of up to 180°. Preferably, the multimedia device (1) is arranged in the center console or between the front seats of the vehicle. The front loading side (4) of the multimedia player (2) can therefore be pivoted forwards or backwards in the vehicle, so that it can be conveniently operated from both the front seats and the rear seats. The multimedia player can therefore be conveniently loaded with recording media from all seating positions.
