Device for securing objects in the luggage compartment of a vehicle

The device has a telescopic elongated base support (10) mounted across the longitudinal axis of the vehicle, and a holder mounted on the base support. The base support can be fixed on the rear bench seat (16) of the vehicle by at least one fastener part (12). The fastener part has a slide carriage (20, 24) movable along the base support and a guide part (28) mounted on the slide carriage across the base support and with an insert opening for the head restraint rod (14) which fits into the rear bench seat.
