This collision damper for vehicles deforms under a collision and consists of a hollow bowl-shaped metal body (3) whose closed end (5) provides a flange by which it is bolted to the front bumper cross member (1) while the open end (6) of the body has its edges turned outwards forming a flange by which it is bolted to the body side member (2). The side walls (4) of the body (3) are provided with a screw-shaped corrugation (10) with at least two threads round the body's lateral axis.
