Process, User Interface, Navigation System and Interface to Display Parts of a Digital Map Database

The map information display method uses digital map database (12) providing data for geographic elements, with evaluation of the attributes of the latter, for determining their representation priority, with corresponding control of a display device (14,16) for providing an image of a real geographic location, in which only the most significant geographic elements are represented.
