Foldable top for convertible vehicle

The folding cover has a cover frame pivotable from a front closed position locating on the windscreen frame into a rear-side opening position, with paired opposing rod legs (6,6',7,7') symmetrical to the longitudinal central plane, on which in particular a flexible roof skin (8) of the cover (2) is held. The cover frame in the area of at least one pair of opposing rod legs is provided with a frame section for retention of the cover, located on the opening and closing movements relatively to it.
